Hello Fellow Shareholders,
On behalf of the Board of Directors, we hope you all are doing well and we send greetings to you and your family. As I write this, I cannot help but think of how proud we should all be of our Corporation. BSNC had an amazing year and the future is so bright for 2026. The Board continues to work hard for all shareholders near and far.
The benefits provided to shareholders continue to reach record levels, including annual dividend distributions, scholarships, bereavement assistance, AIH, Aurora Hotel and car rental discounts, and shareholder hire and engagement. Last quarter, the Board approved an increase in bereavement assistance to better support shareholders during times of need.
This past October, shareholders voted and approved the Open Enrollment resolution with 80% voting YES. This will allow descendants to enroll and receive 50 Class C shares, and we forecast to welcome approximately 9,000 shareholders to the BSNC family next year. We will be bigger and stronger when we work together for the future of the Corporation.
Staff are currently finalizing the process and preparing to launch enrollment by late summer. Descendants are encouraged to begin gathering required documents now to help ensure a smooth enrollment experience. Required documentation includes proof of legal name, date of birth, U.S. citizenship, and lineal descent from an original shareholder. Much of this information can be obtained from birth certificates for the applicant and their parents and grandparents. I am truly honored to serve as Board Chair, and it is a privilege for all of us to serve on the Board on behalf of our shareholders.
