BSNC is pleased to announce the hire of Kim Cunningham as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Cunningham joins BSNC from NANA Regional Corporation (NANA), where she served as Senior Vice President and CFO for the corporation and its wholly-owned subsidiary, NANA Development Corporation (now Sivu, LLC).

At BSNC, Cunningham will be responsible for overseeing all accounting activities, financial strategy and managing and reporting all financial-related activities for the company. Cunningham joins BSNC with 20 years of Alaska Native Corporation leadership experience. She joined NANA in 2012 as its Senior Director of Finance for Natural Resources. Prior to joining NANA, Cunningham worked at CIRI for nearly 10 years as its Director of Tax before being promoted to Senior Director of Lands and Resources.
Cunningham began her career in public accounting at KPMG, LLP, an international public accounting firm, where she worked with a variety of clients across many industries, gaining valuable technical skills and expertise in business, governmental, nonprofit and Alaska Native Corporations.
Cunningham is a CPA and holds undergraduate degrees in both Accounting and Finance. She earned a Master’s degree in Information Processing and Communication from Montana State University. She currently serves as the chair of the Student Assistance Foundation and its audit committee, is a board member of the Montana Higher Education Student Assistance Corporation, and serves as treasurer for the Alaska Association of Professional Landmen. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Council of Petroleum Accountants Society.
