BSNC proudly congratulates Krystal Nelson, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, on her recognition as a YWCA Women of Achievement Awardee. She joined BSNC in 2014, bringing more than 18 years of experience in managing federal, state, and municipal contracts across both public and private sectors.
Nelson’s expertise in managing multi-million-dollar programs and projects, overseeing over 2,600 personnel, and leading union negotiations has made her a key leader at BSNC. With 28 years of experience, Nelson has helped guide BSNC, a diverse company with operations in all 50 states and internationally, to remarkable success. Over her decade with the company, her contributions have driven a 300% growth in revenue, and she now oversees operations totaling $800 million annually, with net profitability growing even faster under her operational oversight.
Each year, YWCA selects 10 women based on their demonstrated personal and/or professional leadership and their service to the community which aligns with the mission of YWCA Alaska to empower women, eliminate racism, and promote peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Nelson will be recognized at the 2024 Women of Achievement Awards Luncheon on Nov. 18. Learn more at ywcaak.org.
