In August 2015, BSNC proudly acquired Alaska Industrial Hardware (AIH), Alaska’s leading provider of construction equipment, tools, and supplies. This year, we celebrate a decade of growth, diversification, and service through AIH.
With stores across Alaska, AIH continues to supply high-quality tools, hardware, safety products, and industrial materials to a wide range of customers—including government agencies, oil and gas operations, commercial contractors, small businesses, and everyday Alaskans tackling their own home and DIY projects.
In 2021, AIH opened its newest Anchorage retail storefront and fulfillment center—the largest hardware and safety replenishment hub in the state—ensuring that customers from homeowners to industrial operators can get the supplies they need when they need them.
Beyond serving Alaska’s communities, AIH plays a vital role in supporting BSNC projects and operations by providing essential tools and supplies to teams across the corporation. Importantly, AIH has created meaningful shareholder and descendant hire opportunities throughout Alaska. Currently, over 20 AIH employees are shareholders and descendants.
BSNC and AIH have also partnered to establish a shareholder discount program, providing shareholders with the highest discount offered to any Alaska Native corporation. The discount varies by item—just present your shareholder ID card at checkout to save.
