Dear Shareholders,

I have been fortunate to be part of BSNC in many different capacities over the past few years. Something that has continually connected me to this corporation is passion—the passion of our shareholders, descendants, and communities for our culture, land, values, and for one another. There is nothing like it. I am as passionate today as ever. That passion is a gift we all share, but also a responsibility. We must honor it while stewarding a strong future for our corporation.

I often say, “Don’t teach me my culture, let my culture teach me.” This is something many of you practice every day, and for that, I am deeply grateful.

As you know, shareholders will soon vote on whether to open enrollment to BSNC lineal descendants and missed enrollees. Your vote matters—it is your voice. If approved, 50 Class C shares would be available to lineal descendants and 100 Class D shares to missed enrollees. This newsletter includes important details, and we encourage you to talk with your families and learn more at beringstraits.com/OEresolution. If passed, this initiative would be a significant step—bringing multiple generations into the BSNC family.

We continue to prioritize shareholder hire and are excited about emerging opportunities. Our Shareholder Development team works with BSNC hiring managers to support applicants and identify qualified shareholders. Through hiring practices, training, and career development, we are preparing shareholders and descendants for meaningful employment. If you are interested in opportunities within BSNC and its family of companies, please email shdevelopment@beringstraits.com.

As Graphite One moves into the permitting phase, BSNC remains a committed partner. Our early engagement reflects our focus on supporting responsible development and ensuring our communities have a voice in the process. We will continue working to align opportunities with long-term regional benefits.

To prepare for trucking demands tied to the Utqiagvik seawall project, Port of Nome expansion, and potential Graphite One activity, BSNC is developing a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training program. This initiative will help build a regional workforce of certified drivers and create new career pathways for shareholders interested in transportation and logistics.

One of the most rewarding parts of my role is visiting our shareholders and communities. Thank you to everyone who has attended and supported our informational meetings. Please continue to share your thoughts—I look forward to hearing from you and seeing you at upcoming meetings.

I’m also looking forward to processing fish and berry picking this summer. I hope your subsistence efforts are successful. Please take care of yourselves and one another.

Quyaana,

Cindy Massie

President
