The Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) Board of Directors has declared a record-high dividend of $12.86 per share. Shareholders (on record as of Nov. 1, 2024) with 100 shares, for example, will receive $1,286. In addition, a $1,500 Elder distribution has been declared for original BSNC shareholders aged 65 years or older as of Nov. 1, 2024, the date of record. These distributions will be paid through the BSNC Beringia Settlement Trust and are not taxable.

The Elder distribution and shareholder dividends will be mailed or direct deposited on or before Nov. 15, 2024. Shareholders can receive their dividend sooner by signing up for direct deposit via the MyBSNC shareholder portal at shareholder.bsnc.net. All shareholders are strongly encouraged to verify their mailing and/or direct deposit information via the MyBSNC Shareholder Portal by Oct. 15, 2024. The total 2024 shareholder dividend will amount to approximately $8.1 million, and the total distribution to BSNC Elders will be approximately $1.8 million. Since 1972, BSNC has distributed $62.5 million in dividends and $14 million in Elder distributions.
