(Anchorage, AK) – Local volunteer attorneys will staff a legal clinic for Alaska Natives on Friday, October 16, 2015 at the Dena’ina Center during the annual AFN Convention. Appointments are scheduled in advance between 10 am – 3 pm.
In honor of Elizabeth Peratrovich, 28 local attorneys will volunteer to see clients. Appointments are for one hour for civil (not criminal) legal issues and 1.5 hours for wills. Space is limited and folks are encouraged to email early to obtain an appointment.

- Name, city, contact address and phone number.
- What best describes your legal issue? Family law (divorce, custody, adoption, child support, ICWA, guardianship), housing (evictions, real estate, public housing, landlord/tenant), consumer (bankruptcy, foreclosure, consumer protection), public benefits (Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security), drafting a Will, or briefly explain other matters (such as civil rights, Indian Tribal Law, fishing issues, public education, public utilities).
- Name of the opposing party, if applicable.
- Whether you need a language interpreter and what language you speak.
Confirmation emails will be sent noting your appointment time, plus any advance paperwork you may need for your appointment.
