BSNC is pleased to host its annual photography contest for BSNC shareholders, descendants and family members of shareholders. This year, BSNC added “Cultural Regalia” as a contest category. For millennia, our ancestors have clothed themselves in uniquely and aesthetically made clothing, skillfully tailored for survival, utilizing the same resources central to our sustenance – land and sea animals, birds and fish. Our region is culturally diverse, with Central Yup’ik, Inupiaq and Siberian Yupik communities and our cultural regalia/traditional clothing is just as diverse. Each category has three awards, and an overall grand prize will be awarded! Please email:
